What is transport process?

Posted on January 17th, 2012 by admin

First we would like to say thank you for considering choosing us to handle your transport job. We pride ourselves on being a 100% positive transport experience company and strive to remain that way. Now we will explain in detail our complete transport process from start to finish. If you are shipping a common passenger vehicle such as a ( 2 door, 4 door car, mid size SUV, 150/1500 series pickup truck, large SUV, or even Heavy Construction Equipment the transport process will be as follows..

Step 1

- Request, email, or call for a transport quote. Be sure to have all the transport information that is needed such as: pickup address or zip code, drop off address or zip code, year/make/model and preffered transport date. Any extra details such as the vehicle’s condition (example:  running or not running), location (example: auction yard, dealership, port, apartment complex, etc.) or other (example: exotic car, collectors car, physically altered vehicle  will help us give you the most accurate transport quote along with a transport time frame.

Step 2

- After receiving a quote contact us by email or phone to confirm or to ask more detailed questions. Even if our quote is higher than your transport budget or higher than another company’s quote please contact us and let us know. If possible we might be able to lower our quote to match or beat any companies quotes. We strive to stay competitive but prefer to have 100% customer satisfaction. Please note that if you book transport services with the final transport cost will never exceed our first original quote.  Warning! With other transport companies a quote is just a estimated cost. Once another transport company gets your deposit or credit card approval the final transport cost may change. Remember the deposit is the fee that transport broker charges for their service and the balance is the transport trucks fee for the physical transport. We lose a lot of business to company’s that operate in this manner because they will always give unrealistic low quotes that are irresistible.  In the event that another company is unable to find a transport truck to move your vehicle because of a low ball quote they will then tell you the transport costs have increased. By that time it’s to late as you have already signed a contract approving credit card charges and dedicated your time. Regardless if you use our company do not get tricked into taking quotes that are below the average quoted rates.

Step 3

Booking transport with is easy. Simply email the following information..

- complete pickup address

- pickup contact phone #

- complete drop off address

- drop off contact phone #

- year/make/model/color  of vehicle or equipment

- date of  shipment

Once we have all of that information we can then enter the transport job into our system for scheduling. As soon as we have a confirmed transport truck will then request a deposit to confirm transport. Just like any other transport company a deposit is needed to dispatch the transport truck for pickup.

Step 4

Deposit for transport is needed to confirm the transport job. In most cases without a deposit we can not send a truck to pickup your vehicle. The deposit insures that the transport of your vehicle has been solely dedicated to our company only. A transport truck may need to drive 50 miles or more to pickup your vehicle so we need to be 100% sure the transport job is confirmed. To send us a deposit is  a very easy process. Once we have all the transport info we will then send you a secure online payable invoice via To date this is by far the safest way to make a payment as your credit card information is not shared with anyone beside you and To send us a deposit through you do not need an account with Simply follow the highlighted link in the emailed invoice marked Pay Now. Once we receive the deposit payment your transport job is confirmed. We will then assign the transport job to a transport truck and give you an estimated transport schedule.

Step 5

Pickup of the vehicle will be announced by the transport driver to the contact person at the vehicle’s pickup address. Usually the truck driver will call 12-24hrs before arrival to schedule the estimated time of pickup. This part of the transport job can be the most hectic as it involves two parties meeting at a set location. The truck driver may be traveling 50 or more miles to pickup or drop off a vehicle and the person releasing or receiving the vehicle will need to be available within an estimated time frame. When the transport driver gets closer to the pickup or drop off location minor to major delays can occur thus delaying the estimated time of arrival. To make it easier on everyone try to be available for at least an hour or two after the truck drivers estimated arrival time. It is even better to leave your vehicle with a third party who can release the vehicle without you being present. Leaving the vehicle with a hotel lobby/security, mechanic shop, front desk, or place of business allows you to go about your day worry free of being somewhere at an estimated time.

That pretty much sums up our transport process if you are ready to start CLICK HERE. If you have any other questions please contact us by email or phone. Thanks,
